Police are investigating the death of a three-year-old girl whose body was found in a car in the Victorian town of Morwell on Friday night.
It was 34 degrees Celsius in Morwell at that point.
Neighbors hurried to help while sitting tight for emergency vehicle officials to show up yet the youngster kicked the bucket at the scene.
Police are examining how the kid came to be in the vehicle, including whether she had move into the vehicle to play find the stowaway.
"The conditions of how the kid came to be in the vehicle are yet to be built up," Acting Inspector Peter Fusinato told ABC Gippsland.
Guiding is being accommodated family members, police, rescue vehicle officials and neighbors.
"That is all piece of the procedure, to guarantee we take care of our kin and care for the individuals who helped on the day," Mr Fusinato said.
Police say a portion of the young lady's family members are as yet being told and would not remark further looking into the issue.
The occurrence is being examined by the Homicide Squad.
