What Happened at the Osborne Park Tow Yard
The woman is understood to have been unloading a car from a truck tilt tray when she sustained critical injuries. Police officers on the scene provided immediate first aid while St John Ambulance paramedics also attended and treated the woman. Despite their efforts, she could not be saved and was declared dead at the scene.
WorkSafe Investigation Launched
WorkSafe has opened a formal investigation into the incident, stating that it thoroughly examines work-related incidents with a view to ensuring compliance with safety standards and preventing similar tragedies in the future.
