Western Bulldogs coach Luke Beveridge says he is no closer to knowing where Zak Butters will end up, with his club understood to be among the contenders to secure the Port Adelaide midfielder ahead of next season.
Beveridge admitted he remains in the dark over the situation, offering little clarity on whether the Bulldogs will be successful in their pursuit of the sought-after Port Adelaide star.
