Humans today would be more useful as a lion’s lunch than contributors to mankind. Being eaten by a lion in the present day would be a human’s greatest contribution of their entire lives. They would be the energy source that would fuel a lion to survive another week in the dry plains of Africa. I say this because our lives are governed by the best methods applicable to us which will help us achieve our primary objective: MONEY. Now ask yourself this, what good are you to mankind if you become a billionaire? Or in what way would you have contributed to the prosperity of mankind in becoming a billionaire? I’ll save you from having to lie to yourself, the answer to those two questions is that you are useless to the cause of mankind albeit your wealth.
It is very rare to find people who are in the job they’re in due to their undying passion for what they do. The majority of the rest wouldn’t be doing what they’re doing as a career or job if it wasn’t for money. What people fail to realise is that it is not derived from our human nature to need to want material things. Us humans are made to believe that our happiness and prosperity is manifested through wealth, stuff and comfort. In society today, those who are perceived to have acquired wealth, stuff and comfort are praised, admired and loved.
I believe the most inspiring motive to strive for happiness and prosperity (wealth, stuff and comfort) is ultimately to be loved and valued. The ultimate end-goal for the lost human soul is to be loved and valued. You can’t buy love or admiration, to a certain extent they can be bought, but bought love and admiration does not compare to the love and admiration that is earned. Earned love and admiration may diminish but never forfeited.
Well, how would one earn love and admiration? Be unique, be true to yourself. Not in the sense of trying to get the person you admire to notice you. That is so stupid, how can someone achieve complete self-realisation moments before approaching someone. I may be taking the conventional ‘be yourself’ advice too literally but that’s the point.
I want you to seriously consider for a lengthy amount of time the following 3 things. 1) who you really are, 2) what is your life’s purpose (is it really to be at your current job?) and 3) how you would act in being true to yourself (yourself being the person based on the previous 2 things). Seriously take the time to ponder on these things. Especially if you feel lonely, take some time to think about yourself with yourself. You will then realise that you are never really alone because you always have your subconscious to talk to. Your subconscious is the side of you that people don’t see, the side of you that is immune from the influence of the outside world.
Again, how could you yourself earn never-to-be forfeited love and admiration?
